SELF REFLECTION

Welcome back to our monthly self-reflection! This section is a chance to pause, renew our intentions, and remember that every step can be a path to spiritual growth.

DUA OF THE MONTH

اللّهُـمَّ عالِـمَ الغَـيْبِ وَالشّـهادَةِ فاطِـرَ السّماواتِ وَالأرْضِ رَبَّ كـلِّ شَـيءٍ وَمَليـكَه أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلـهَ إِلاّ أَنْت أَعـوذُ بِكَ مِن شَـرِّ نَفْسـي وَمِن شَـرِّ الشَّيْـطانِ وَشِـرْكِه وَأَنْ أَقْتَـرِفَ عَلـى نَفْسـي سوءاً أَوْ أَجُـرَّهُ إِلـى مُسْـلِم

Allāhumma ālima'l-ghaybi wash-shahādah fātir as-samāwāti wa'l'arḍ Rabba kulli shay'in wa malīkah ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā ant a ūdhu bika min sharri nafsī wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih wa an aqtarifa `alā nafsī sū'an aw ajurrahu ilā Muslim.

“O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the evident, Maker of the heavens and the earth Lord of everything and its Possessor I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his helpers. (I seek refuge in You) from bringing evil upon my soul and from harming any Muslim.”

As we hit the halfway mark of ramadan, this is a reminder to continue making the most sincere duas and worship for everything you could possibly want because all praise is for Allah and thanks is solely to Him. Align your daily efforts with sincerity, discipline, and purpose. May Allah grant us clarity, consistency, and barakah in everything we do and allow us to be the best versions of ourself for the rest of this sacred month and during the 10 last nights.

ZIONIST ATTACKS ON IRAN

It is clear from the recent Israeli killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei، that we are witnessing yet another attempt to destabilize the Muslim world. One we’ve seen in the Zionist playbook since Benjamin Netanyahu’s appearance in the Israeli Knesset in 1992 where he first made the claim that Iran is only “three to five years” away from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

For more than three decades, this unsubstantiated timeframe has been repeated without contention from US intelligence. Netanyahu echoed similar false flags such as during his 2002 testimony before the U.S. Congress regarding alleged weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, claims that later proved unfounded and contributed to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. He has continued advancing this narrative in later years, including his widely criticized 2012 presentation at the United Nations, where he used a cartoon illustration of a bomb to portray Iran’s supposed proximity to nuclear capability.

The combination of Trump’s unpredictable childish nature and Netanyahu’s devilish tactics has led to the death of countless innocent lives. As of the fifth day of these attacks, Israel has killed over 800 lives including this past weekend’s attack on a girls school which killed over 165 students. In retaliation, Iran has attacked US bases in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries such as Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. In addition, Israel has killed and injured over 300 people in Lebanon.

This attempt of forceful regime change has never succeeded. From Afghanistan to Vietnam and from Lebanon to Gaza. The West has claimed millions of Muslim lives yet they will consistently portray themselves as being the bastion of peace.

In Ayat 11 and 12 of Surah Baqarah it talks about the hypocrites:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ (١١)

Wa izaa qeela lahum laa tufsidoo fil ardi qaalooo innamaa nahnu muslihoon

When they are told, “Do not spread corruption in the land,” they reply, “We are only peace-makers!”

أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ (١٢)

Alaaa innahum humul mufsidoona wa laakil laa yash’uroon

Indeed, it is they who are the corruptors, but they fail to perceive it.

We ask Allah SWT to ease the suffering of our brothers and sisters being afflicted by war during the month of Ramadan and that Allah SWT carries out justice against the Zionist oppressors.
